MS Dhoni (CSK,RPS) took part in 278 matches, scoring 5439 runs, with 84 his best innings in the IPL. Across 268 matches, Ravindra Jadeja (CSK,GL,KOCHI,RR) amassed 3526 runs with 77 as his highest individual score. All these legendary stars made their names by playing the many matches in the IPL. Their long career demonstrates their consistency, fitness, and dedication to the league. They have become iconic faces of the IPL, inspiring fans and rising young players not just in India but also across the world.

MS Dhoni played 278 matches while playing for CSK, he led the team to 5 times win in the IPL history. Their winning history was first recorded in 2010 then in 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2023.

Rohit Sharma marked his presence in 272 matches and started the season with deccan chargers before leading Mumbai Indians. The Mumbai Indians also marked the 5 victories in IPL under Rohit Sharma captaincy.

Virat Kohli also etched his name in most matches played in ipl with 267 matches in which he converted many records under his name. 

Dinesh Karthik has played 257 matches in IPL and delivered incredible performance with his bat, maintaining the batting average of 55 and strike rate of 183.33 in IPL 2022.

Ravindra Jadeja made his place in top 5 in the list of most matches played in ipl with the number 254.
