AB de Villiers (RCB) scored 19 fours in 59 balls with 133 runs against MI on 10 May 2015. He holds the record of scoring the most fours in an IPL innings. Paul Valthaty (PBKS) struck 19 fours while scoring 120 in 63 balls against CSK on 13 April 2011. He has made his impact in the 2nd spot in achieving the highest number of fours in an inning in the tournament. Michael Lumb (RR) blasted 16 fours during his 83 in 43 deliveries against PBKS on 7 April 2010. He obtained 3rd place in hitting the most fours in the league. Devon Conway(CSK) showcased his class by hitting 16 fours in his 92 in 52 balls against PBKS on 30 April 2023. He sealed 4th place in hitting the highest number of boundaries. Michael Lumb, Devon Conway, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Ajinkya Rahane are all tied with 16 fours in an IPL innings. Michael Lumb achieved this with 83 runs against Punjab Kings on April 7, 2010. Devon Conway made his mark on April 30, 2023. Yashasvi Jaiswal followed closely with an impressive 124 runs against Mumbai Indians on April 30, 2023, while Ajinkya Rahane presented an outstanding performance on April 6, 2012.

Glenn Maxwell and Quinton de Kock etched their name in the list of most four in an IPL innings with 15 fours. Glenn Maxwell hammered 15 fours against CSK on 18 April 2014 while Quinton de Kock scored 108 Runs against RCB on 17 April 2016.
