NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli has broken into the top three of the elite list of highest career averages in List A cricket following his brilliant 77-run knock against Gujarat in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

His innings, featuring 13 boundaries and a six, showcased his ability to dominate attacks while anchoring the innings with poise and control.

Kohli’s recent performance has taken his List A tally to 16,207 runs from 331 innings, with 58 centuries and 85 half-centuries. His career average now stands at 57.67, placing him just behind Australia’s Michael Bevan (57.86) and England’s Sam Hain (57.76), cementing his spot among the most consistent and accomplished one-day batters of the modern era.
