Delhi Capitals have ended their IPL 2026 campaign on a high with a convincing 40-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. Chasing 204, KKR were bowled out well short as DC’s bowlers delivered a disciplined finish to the game.

With this result, Delhi Capitals finish their season in 6th place on the points table, while Kolkata Knight Riders end their campaign in 7th position after a dramatic but inconsistent run.

Mitchell Starc runs through the lower order as Kolkata Knight Riders completely fall apart in the death overs.

First, Anukul Roy was involved in a run-out after a sharp direct hit from Sameer Rizvi at the bowler’s end. Next ball, Roy was dismissed again as Starc took a simple return catch off a miscued shot. Moments later, Kartik Tyagi also fell cheaply, edging a catch to Axar Patel at mid-off.
