Wednesday brought bright fortunes for Royal Challengers Bengaluru under Raipur’s lights. A commanding win by six wickets against Kolkata Knight Riders lifted RCB above the rest of the title contenders.
At the heart stands Virat Kohli again, calm and relentless, finishing not out on 105. With twelve games played, sixteen points now sit beside their name. Playoffs feel less like hope, more like momentum.
Top of the table, yet RCB’s playoff path stays uncertain with just two games left, against Sunrisers Hyderabad and then Punjab Kings. Losing both might knock them out, though a single victory could keep hope alive, hinging on how rival scores stack up elsewhere. Their fate isn’t fully theirs to control.
Gujarat Titans lead the playoff probability race, RCB at second
Eighteen points might be the target of everyone's eyes. Gujarat Titans stay within reach, their chances alive through steady progress. Chennai Super Kings follow close, keeping pace without flash. Rajasthan Royals move just ahead of uncertainty, still able to arrive at the same total.

Royal Challengers Bangalore may find fate decided by finer margins - runs per over could rule it. Punjab Kings hold potential, able to step into that group if results bend right. Sunrisers Hyderabad also carries enough strength to match or exceed that number.
KKR’s still in it, barely. Three wins from three games would get them to fifteen points, yet even that might not be enough unless other outcomes line up just right.
Oddly enough, even though RCB holds first place, the Gujarat Titans are more likely to make the playoffs right now. Star Sports data shows the team under Shubman Gill stands at 94.8 percent for qualification, because they face CSK and KKR in their remaining two matches.
Chasing close behind, RCB holds a 92.6 percent chance. Not far off, Sunrisers Hyderabad lands at 64.7 percent. Meanwhile, Punjab Kings sit on 62.8 percent.
Parked at fifth spot, Chennai Super Kings hold just under half a shot at making it through. Close behind, Rajasthan Royals cling to a near-identical hope, their path still open by a thread.
